If you're 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Global Pathways Foundation. It's one of the most tax-efficient ways to give — and an increasingly popular path for faithful donors.
Want to learn more about how QCDs work? Read Fidelity Charitable's guide to QCDs.
Why donate by QCD
Your QCD is excluded from taxable income. You avoid tax on the distribution while still supporting our mission.
If you're 73 or older, your QCD can satisfy all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution for the year.
Your IRA custodian sends the gift directly to us. No need to withdraw the funds to your personal account first.
How to give
Contact your IRA custodian (Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, etc.) and request a Qualified Charitable Distribution. Provide them with the details below. The check must be made payable directly to Global Pathways Foundation and mailed to our address — it should not be made out to you.
Need our EIN or have questions? Email legacy@globalpathways.org and we'll be happy to help.
For a limited time, every dollar donated through a Qualified Charitable Distribution will be matched by Global Pathways Foundation — doubling your impact. Thank you for considering this meaningful way to give.
