Throughout history, man has always been hungry to learn and respond. No matter who you are, or where you live, learning is a lifelong process and is essential to thrive. Every fifteen years, the United Nations meet to set 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a call-to-action for nations worldwide to address five critical areas of importance: people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership.

Education is one of those critical pieces to improve for a better planet and improved quality of  life around the world.

Quality Education (SDG 4), is a goal to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.  This is a lofty goal which the COVID pandemic has set back by disrupting and exposing a vulnerable education system that was unable to provide quality when it was forced to become a virtual learning environment.  Since then, virtual learning has become a mainstay for many students around the world, for better or for worse.  The realities of education today provide many areas for desperately needed intervention.

Opportunities to support developing countries as they restore their education systems are abundant.  Global Pathways targets its efforts to improve infrastructure, provide online curricula, train teachers, and subsidize education costs.  The massive destruction of the education system around the world can be rebuilt with a stronger foundation than ever before and lead to better quality teaching and better educated students.  Global Pathways is invested in the goal to join the world wide efforts to attain inclusive and equitable education for all by 2030 and beyond.
